4 Schritte zur Einführung eines Sprachlern-Plans in Ihrem Unternehmen - Babbel für Unternehmen

If you’ve recently decided to implement a corporate language learning solution or are interested in doing so, creating a road map is vital to ensure that your team gets off to a good start. Here at Babbel, we’re experts when it comes to introducing companies and their employees to the limitless possibilities of multilingualism, and from our experience, putting a learning plan in place is the best way to get set up for success.

In order to find the type of program that will work for your organization, you’ll need to create a plan that looks at the big picture of what you hope to achieve. We’ve put together some guidelines to help managers do exactly this. The four steps outlined below will help the leader of your language learning program put together a plan that will launch your team into successful learning, and ensure that they remain on-track along the way.

Start by assessing your company’s language learning needs.

Determining the needs of your organization is the first step towards forming a plan that will help you find the language learning solution that suits your internal requirements and expectations. Ask yourself or your management team key questions about who will participate, when the program will take place, what type of content you’ll require and above all, why you’re implementing a language learning solution in the first place. These answers will help you discover what your program leader hopes to achieve through language learning, and what they’ll need to reach their goals in terms of budget and support. Besides that, gather insights from your employees about their learning goals, preferences and motivation.

Next, define your strategy.

Once you’ve gathered information from both the program leader and participants, you should choose a learning strategy that prioritizes your team’s learning objectives and empowers your employees with course content related to their everyday lives and workflows. When deciding, keep in mind that the best language learning strategies give employees the tools and support they need to succeed in a format that doesn’t negatively impact productivity.

Now, find the right product.

Finding the type of language training that’s right for your company can be simple if you’re provided with the right options. We have defined three primary learning models that help assign the needs of your organization to the right product for your employees. Our comprehensive, hands-on guide to language learning in your company (that’s available to download here) provides a detailed breakdown of these models, and helps you identify where your needs lie within the Babbel framework.

Don’t forget to evaluate your progress.

Evaluation is a key part of ensuring the success (and longevity) of any language learning program. Keeping track of how participants are performing and how well they are interacting with the content will allow your management team to gauge the effectiveness of the plan you’ve put in place and to tweak it as needed. Plus, our B2B team is available to support you along the way, so feel free to reach out!
